While it is almost certain that the next flagship from Samsung would be called the Galaxy Note 7, popular tipster @evleaks has now once again confirmed it.
Popular tipster @evleaks has leaked the branding logo of the upcoming Galaxy Note handset which confirms the name Samsung Galaxy Note7. The company has apparently decided to skip the Galaxy Note 6 to avoid branding inconsistency and to align with the Galaxy S7 range. The source has also confirmed the much rumored iris scanner for enhanced security.
Rumours about the Samsung Galaxy Note7 suggest that the flagship would have a 5.8 inch Quad HD dual curved edge display. The smartphone would be powered by the Exynos 8 chipset along with 6 GB of RAM. Also expected is the revolutionary 12 MP dual pixel camera and a 4000 mAh battery. The flagship is scheduled to be announced on August 2.
