While the Google’s ambitious Android One project was pretty slow to pick up in India, the company seems to be ready to release another handset, this time with better specs.
The yet to be announced Lava Pixel V1, which is apparently the company’s upcoming Android One smartphone is listed online. The device has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The Lava Pixel V1 has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android Lollipop version with a 2650 mAh battery. The handset is expected to be priced at Rs. 11349 and is apparently one of the most decent Android One smartphones. We should be hearing the official announcement anytime soon.
