Just hours after the Lava Pixel V1 surfaced online, the company has now official announced the handset.
Lava has announced the launch of the Lava Pixel V1, which is the company’s first Android One smartphone launched in partnership with Google. The device has a 5.5 inch IPS display with Asahi Dragontrail glass protection, oleophobic coating and resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The Lava Pixel V1 has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with 1.4um BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and LED flash, which is interpolated to 13 MP. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android Lollipop version with direct updates from Google. The handset is priced at Rs. 11349 and would be available exclusively on Flipkart.
