While Lava was relatively low-profile in terms of new devices last year, the company seems to have a lot of plans for this year and has kick started with the launch of the Lava Iris Pro 30.
The Lava Iris Pro 30 is the company’s first flagship device of the year. The device has a 4.7 inch OGS technology display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla glass protection. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. There is also a PowerVR SGX 544 GPU. The handset uses the content adaptive backlight control screen brightness regulation technology that automatically reduces screen brightness and saves nearly 30 percent battery life.
The Lava Iris Pro 30 has a silver metal bezel and uses a magnesium alloy body, thus making the phone very light weighing just 114 grams. The device is equipped with a rear facing 8 MP camera with dual LED flash. There is also a front facing 3 MP camera. The phone has dual SIM support with 3G connectivity. The handset is priced at Rs. 15999.
