With the increasing demand for smartphones with long battery life, Lava has launched the new Fuel series with the Lava Iris Fuel 50.
Lava has announced the launch of the Lava Iris Fuel 50, which is the company’s first handset in the new Fuel series. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with Asahi Dragontrail glass protection and resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Lava Iris Fuel 50 has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with dual LED flash. There is also a front facing 2 MP camera. The device runs on the Android KitKat version with a massive 3000 mAh battery, which is said to last for 1.5 days. The handset is priced at Rs. 7799 and is available in black colour.
Speaking about the Lava Iris Fuel 50, Hari Om Rai, Chairman & Managing Director, LAVA International said, “As smartphones are increasingly becoming a very integral part of our daily lives and drive a lot of tasks for us, we need devices that are able to support heavy usage without having the need to carry power banks for frequent charging. Lava’s product development and R&D team worked on this insight and with our new Fuel series of smartphones we will address just that.
