Lava has just launched a new smartphone in its Fuel line-up dubbed the Lava Iris Fuel 20 and once again, the emphasis is on the battery. As with previous Fuel devices, the Iris Fuel 20 comes with a massive battery and this time, it’s 4400 mAh. The battery capacity sounds amazing but let’s check out the other specs of the device.
Other than the huge battery, the specs of the Lava Iris Fuel 20 are pretty modest. The device comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (854x480p) display and it’s powered by a 1.3 GHz Dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM. The internal storage is pretty meagre at 4 GB but there’s microSD expansion up to 32 GB.
The Fuel 20 comes with a 5 MP rear camera with an LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. Android 4.4.2 KitKat runs the show here. We aren’t really pleased with the connectivity options though, as there’s no 3G support. The device does come with Dual SIM support but sadly, there’s only 2G support.
The Lava Iris Fuel 20 comes in two color variants: Metallic Grey and White. The device is priced at Rs. 5,399, so we do understand that Lava had to cut some corners to get that price. The device will be available at various online retailers and the traditional brick and mortar stores starting next week. You’ll get a free flip cover with the device as well.
