While its latest Android KitKat handset was just spotted on the company website, Lava has started rolling out Android KitKat updates to the Lava Iris 504Q+.
The Lava Iris 504Q+, which was launched a few months back for Rs. 13990, has started receiving the Android KitKat v4.4.2 update, skipping the Android v4.3 updates. The update adds an improved user interface which also includes the new dialler app. There are also other performance tweaks which apparently offer an improved battery life for the device.
The Lava Iris 504Q+ has a 5 inch display with OGS technology and Asahi Dragontrail glass protection and resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device is also equipped with a rear facing 10 MP camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor and LED flash, besides a front facing 2 MP camera. The update has already started rolling out over-the-air and can be checked in the device settings.
