Last week, we shared with you about an upcoming and unannounced Lava Iris 502 smartphone with a large 5-inch display appearing online and which was available available for buyers for about Rs.8,499. And now, Lava Mobiles has officially announced the device on its Facebook page.
The Lava Iris 502 arrives with a large 5-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels while being powered by a 1 GHz processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM. The device’s internal memory is pegged at 4 GB which is expandable to 32 GB using a microSD card.
The dual-SIM, dual-standby Lava Iris 502 is run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS which is a plus for the device and there is a 5 MP Auto Focus camera on the rear with LED Flash for all your photography needs while a front facing VGA camera for video calls has been included. The Lava Iris 502 is powered by a 2000 mAh battery and connectivity options include the usual microUSB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G.
