Lava has just launched a brand new budget smartphone in its Iris range of smartphones, the Lava Iris 465. Lava is marketing the Iris 465 as the smartphone which comes with support for 21 languages.
The Lava Iris 465 comes with support for Hindi, Bodo, Sanskrit, Nepali, Marathi, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Bengali, Assamese, Maithili, Maniouri, Gujarati, Punjabi, Santali, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam, Kannada. The specs are pretty modest, as you would expect from the price. The Iris 465 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854x480p) display and it’s powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM.
The device comes with 4 GB internal storage and microSD expansion up to 32 GB. There’s a 3.2 MP camera on the rear with an LED flash and a 0.3 MP (VGA) front-facing camera. Android 4.4 KitKat runs the show and a 1750 mAh battery powers the device. The connectivity is well covered with dual SIM support, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The Lava Iris 465 will be available on various online retailers starting today and India and it’s priced at Rs. 4,499. The device will come in Black variant only.
