With the increasing demand for entry-level smartphones in the Indian market owing to its affordable pricing, Lava seems to be readying the Lava Iris 402e.
The Lava Iris 402e, which seems to be company’s upcoming budget smartphone, was spotted on the official company website. The device has a 4 inch display with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a mere 1 GHz dual core processor with just 512 MB of RAM and 512 MB of internal storage of which only 130 MB is available to the user. The memory can however be expanded using microSD cards.
The Lava Iris 402e is equipped with a rear facing 2 MP camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing VGA camera. The device runs on the Android Jelly Bean with a 1450 mAh battery. It also has dual SIM support however without 3G connectivity. While the pricing is not yet revealed, we can expect it to be priced in the Rs. 3500 – 4500 range.
