If you thought that the 13 inch Toshiba Thrive was too huge for a tablet, then hold your breath as Japan based Kouziro has gone ahead and created a mega tablet which arrives with a 21.5 inch touchscreen.
Yes you read it right; the Kouziro FT103 arrives with a 21.5 inch of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich sweetness. The tablet measures 512.8 × 24.8 × 353 mm in dimensions and weighs about 11 pounds.
The 21.5 inch tablet’s screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels and the tablet would only work in a landscape mode. There is also no battery for the tablet and you’ll have to find a plug nearby to keep it running.
Other specs of the tablet include a dual-core 1 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of internal storage with option to expand it through microSD slot. For connectivity the tablet arrives with Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi, micro HDMI port, Headphone jack and a microphone. There is also a 1.2 MP front facing camera which would let you have video chats with your friends and family.
The Kouziro FT103 is priced at 34,800 Yen which is about $440 and is expected to arrive in Japan by late July. Also we do not expect the table to ship to other parts of the world anytime soon. But if given a chance, would you buy this 21.5 inch tablet?
