After an initial announcement regarding the foray into the smartphone industry, Kodak has now launched the Kodak IM5.
Kodak has announced the launch of the Kodak IM5, which marks the company’s entry into the booming smartphone market. The handset, which is built by the Bullitt Group, is surprisingly not a photography-centric smartphone. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Kodak IM5 has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with a BSI sensor and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android KitKat version and is expected to receive the Android Lollipop update later this year.
