After initial teasers, Jolla, the company known for the Sailfish OS, has launched the Jolla smartphone in India.
Jolla, which is a company started by ex-Nokia employees, has announced the launch of their first smartphone in India. The device has a sharp rectangular design with a 4.5 inch display and resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Jolla smartphone has an 8 MP rear facing camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 1.3 MP camera. The phone runs on the company’s proprietary Sailfish OS. The platform can easily use Android app available. The handset is priced at Rs. 16499 and would be available exclusively on Snapdeal. The first 90 orders would get the VIP box with Other Half covers in Poppy Red, Keira Black and Aloe colours.
