Jolla, the startup which has taken the responsibility of taking ahead the MeeGo OS after Nokia left it mid-way has today announced a giant leap ahead.
Though the company hasn’t announced any device on MeeGo until now, they have signed an agreement for Sales and Distribution agreement with D.Phone Group, which is the largest mobile phone retail chain in China. D.Phone has a network of over 2000 retail stores which it uses to reach the consumers.

Now this step by Jolla is indeed a great one as it has secured a place in the world’s largest mobile market without even unveiling the device. This can indeed act as a boost for the company and the team which is working with all their hearts out for keeping the lovely MeeGo platform alive.
