Japanese mobile carrier KDDI has unveiled a handset called the INFOBAR A01, which is part of KDDI’s designer sub-brand iida. The main attraction is the handset’s UI which is integrated with Android 2.3. The handset is said to be available in Japan this summer.

By the looks of the video the handset has a very fresh and exciting UI and seems very responsive as well. We hope similar UI concepts are made available around the globe by various mobile manufacturers soon.
