Apple Inc. has been accusing HTC for patent infringement for the past two year and has filed a number of lawsuits in Delaware. But now in a counter attack, HTC has sued Apple, and claims that Apple has infringed three patents through its sale of Macintosh computers, iPads, iPods, iPhones and other devices.
According to its complaint, HTC obtained the patents that it believes Apple is infringing in 2008 and 2010. The lawsuit filed by HTC in the U.S. District Court in Delaware seeks to halt Apple’s importation and sale of infringing products in the United States. The lawsuit also seeks compensatory damages, triple damages for wilful infringement and other remedies.
