itel Mobile today launched the itel S42 smartphone in India that comes with a 5.65-inch 18:9 display, 13 MP front and rear cameras, and Android 8.0 Oreo at a price of ₹8499. However, the S42 isn’t the only smartphone that itel has launched today in the country. Alongside the S42, itel also launched the itel A44 and itel A44 Pro smartphones in India today.
The itel A44 and A44 Pro both have a design that’s similar to that of the S42. However, both these smartphones come with low-end specifications as compared to the S42. That said, like the S42, the A44 and A44 Pro also sport a display with 18:9 aspect ratio, however, the size is reduced to 5.45-inch and resolution is reduced to 960 x 480 pixels on A44 while the A44 Pro retains HD+ resolution.
The itel A44 an A44 Pro are powered by MediaTek’s MT6737M quad-core processor. But, the former comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage whereas the latter comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage.
Another difference between both these smartphones is that the A44 sports a 5 MP camera on the rear whereas the A44 Pro rocks an 8 MP camera. However, both the smartphones come with a 5 MP snapper on the front. Having said that, everything else remains the same on both the A44 and the A44 Pro.
