We have heard it N number of times that the Cupertino based Apple will launch its smaller version iPad which is dubbed as iPad Mini in the month of October.
And today we hear that the company will apparently hold an invite-only launch event on October 23 and will send out invites soon.
The news comes in from AllThingsD, whose ‘people familiar with Apple’s plan’ are saying that the so-called iPad Mini will be unveiled at an undisclosed location on October 23.
Interestingly, if the event takes place on October 23, then it is being held on a Tuesday and not on a traditional Wednesday which Apple generally chooses to announce its products.
The iPad Mini is rumoured to arrive with a 7.85 inch screen minus the retina display, anodized aluminium back, looks better than the new iPad and the new Lightning port. Previous rumours also have suggested that the iPad Mini could arrive with a price tag of $200 – $250 for the Wi-Fi only model.
For now it will only take an invite from Apple to confirm the existence of the iPad Mini and it should be only a matter of a few days.
