Just after the launch of Cloud Swift smartphone for ₹8,888, Intex has now launched its new affordable smartphone called Intex Aqua Life III for ₹5,199. The Aqua Life is the 3rd generation of the aqua life series. It is a dual sim 3G smartphone and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1. The handset is 8.9 mm thick and weighs 157 grams.
Intex Aqua Life III has a 5-inch IPS display with 720×1280 pixels resolution covered with a dragontail glass protection. There is a 1.2 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded with up to 32 GB using a microSD card.
It boasts a 5 MP autofocus camera at the back that supports an LED flash. The front camera is a VGA camera. It is powered by a 2000 mAh Li-ion battery which can be removed further. Intex claims that the battery runtime is 10 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby time.
The Aqua Life III also offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Bluetooth as well as sensors including an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, an accelerometer, and one magnetometer. The smartphone is priced low at ₹5,199. It is available in black, white, gray and champagne colors.
