While Sailfish OS is trying hard to compete with Android, Intex has now picked up the platform for the Intex Aqua Fish.
Intex has announced the launch of the Intex Aqua Fish, which is the company’s first smartphone running on the Sailfish OS with Android app compatibility. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core Snapdragon 212 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Intex Aqua Fish has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 2 MP camera. The device runs on the Sailfish version with a 2500 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset is priced at Rs. 5499 and is available exclusively on eBay.
