The Indian smartphone company, Intex has announced its 1st smartphone named Aqua Ace with a 3 GB of RAM at an amazing price of ₹12,999. Intex claims to be the second largest company in India after Micromax with a market share of 11% and has a reputation of making budget smartphones throughout India.
The new Intex Aqua Ace features a 5-inch SUPER AMOLED IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735) and a huge 3 GB of RAM along with Android Lollipop 5.1 Operating System. It offers one of the best specifications under the budget range of ₹10,000 to ₹15,000.
The smartphone is very thin (6.7mm) and covered by gorilla glass on both sides protecting it from scratches. It is completely light in weight (121.5 grams) to hold.
There is a 13 MP primary camera with LED flash to capture clear images and a 5 MP front camera for taking wonderful selfies. The back camera has some interesting features like anti-shake, capture with gestures, live photo, Panorama, motion tracking, multi-angle view, and much more.
It comes with a 16 GB inbuilt storage and can be expandable up to 128 GB using MicroSD. On the other hand, there is a 2300 mAh Lithium Polymer battery that runs about 4 to 6 hours of talk time and 250 to 300 hours of standby time as indicated by Intex.
The Intex Aqua Ace supports 4G network thus giving you even faster access to the internet than a 3G enabled smartphone. A unique feature called Smart Motion is used to answer phone calls, send messages, without picking up or touching the phone.
