The mini version of the popular Sony Xperia Z1 was launched in Japan a few months back. While the rest of the world had to wait for the device to be launched globally, the company seems to be set for the announcement early next year.
According to sources, Sony is set to unveil the international version of the Sony Xperia Z1f in China on the occasion of the Chinese New Year Festival. Interestingly, the website of Sony China also enlists an event on January 3, which could be the day the device is announced. The device is reportedly priced at $675.
The delayed launch of the Sony Xperia Z1f in China does throw some doubts of the global release of the device. While the US may have to wait for a very long time, the Asian continent may get first preference for the device. The smartphone features the exact same specs as the Sony Xperia Z1 but with a reduced display of 4.3 inches.
