Instagram, the popular image editing and social-sharing app for Android has just been updated to version 1.1.7.
With this latest version, the app is all ready to taste some Android 4.1 Jelly Bean love as it is now supports Google’s very own Nexus 7 tablet.
So if you are one of the lucky few who got their hand-on the Nexus 7 tablet from Google I/O then Instagram is ready for you to add some nice effects to your pictures.
Though the app basically focuses on just viewing and not at creating content, owners of the Nexus 7 tablet can use the 1.2 MP front facing camera to take a few decent snaps and then add effects to their pictures without any difficulty. Also with this update now users will have the ability to share your photos directly to Flickr, which is now a part of the sharing menu.
If you are about to receive your Nexus 7 in the next few days then it’s a great news for you that the app is ready for you to use once you get your tablet.
