Chinese smartphone brand Infinix, which is owned by Transsion Holdings, launched the Infinix Zero5 and Zero5 Pro smartphones in India back in November last year. Now today, the company has further expanded its product portfolio in the country with the launch of Infinix Hot S3 smartphone.
The Infinix Hot S3 is a budget smartphone which is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor that’s mated with 3 or 4 GB GB RAM and backed by Adreno 505 GPU. The phone features a metallic uni-body design, and, it flaunts a 5.65-inch display that has a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.
There’s nothing below the display, hence, the chin looks big and the space is underutilized. That said, above this 5.65-inch tall display is a 20 MP selfie camera that’s accompanied by dual-LED flash which would help you take brighter selfies in low-light conditions. For regular photos, there’s a 13 MP snapper at the back which too is accompanied by dual-LED flash.
The cameras also come with the now common Beauty Mode as well as the Bokeh Effect, the latter of which lets you take photos with blurred background.
Having said that, the Infinix Hot S3 boots up to Hummingbird XOS 3.0 which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The phone also has up to 64 GB of internal storage, and, it also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot so that you expand the storage whenever you want without having to choose between extra SIM or more storage.
Lastly, the phone has a fingerprint scanner at the back for additional security, and, it ships with a huge 4000 mAh battery which keeps this entire package up and running.
