Just a few days back codenames of many Nokia devices were leaked. While some devices like the Nokia Bandit had surfaced earlier, some were still mysterious. However sources have now found info on another listed device codenamed as the Nokia Sirius.
According to sources, the Nokia Sirius is a 10.1 inch Windows RT based tablet. The images reveal a stretched Lumia like device with a bright polycarbonate body. The device boasts of a high resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with brightness boost for better outdoor visibility. The tablet is said to sport the superfast Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor besides a 2 GB RAM.
Interestingly, the Nokia Sirius is said to be thinner and lighter than the Apple iPad. The tablet would be equipped with two cameras – a rear facing 6 MP camera and a front facing 2 MP camera, besides support for 4G LTE connectivity. As per sources, Nokia would price the tablet at around the same price as the iPad (starting $499). While it is not yet confirmed, the device may be launched in New York on September 26.
