Just last month we saw a press shot of the HTC Golf (Codename) and at that time we expected it to go on to be released as the HTC Wildfire C.
But now, guys at ITProPortal have posted some hands-on images which they received. According to them, the HTC Golf will go on to be called HTC Desire C instead of the Wildfire C, which if true will see HTC resurrecting the Desire brand for this entry-level product.
Going by the specs, the device falls just behind the HTC One series and the One V to be precise. Most of them match the previous leaks and tell us that the HTC Golf or HTC Wildfire C or HTC Desire C or whatever it may go on to be called will arrive with a single core processor with a speed of maybe less than 1GHz (Sad!), 3.2 inch display with a resolution of 480 x 320, 512 MB, a 5 MP camera at the rear.
The internal memory is said to be of 4G which obviously we expect to be expandable via microSD slot. One great thing about this device is that it will arrive with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out-of-the-box. The device is expected to arrive by the end of next month or so.
