So after months of rumours, speculations and even leaks Samsung has today finally and officially announced the launch of the Galaxy Note II.
The specifications of the Galaxy Note II are exactly similar to those we have been hearing in the past few weeks.
Going by the specifications the Galaxy Note II now officially arrives with:

- Front-facing 1.9-megapixel camera

- Internal storage option of 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB
- 151.1 x 80.5 x 9.4mm
- 180 grams
- 3G/4G LTE
- Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, NFC
- Improved S-Pen
One great news is that as we had expected, the Note II will ship with the latest iteration of Android OS,the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.
The Galaxy Note II will be available in Mountain White and Titanium Grey colour options for users to choose from. But this is not just it. Coming to the S-Pen that is Note’ companion, the Note II will arrive with a new thicker and longer S-Pen which is said to be more ergonomic.
A new feature called the “Air View” has been introduced by Sammy, which will let users hover the S Pen over images, emails, and other items to preview things without having to completely open them up.
Other features include “Popup Notes” which will let Note II users put a note over the screen, atop other apps and also a “Quick Command” option that reveals a menu of quick commands for sending contacts email, calls, searching, and more has been unveiled.

Samsung has not yet revealed any information on the pricing of the Galaxy Note II but we’ll know it all once the device reaches the shores of Europe in October and later around the world.
