Just a few weeks after the launch of Idea Ivory, Idea Cellular has now launched the cheapest smartphone in its range. The Idea Zeal smartphone is said to be a value for money phone.
The Idea Zeal is a dual SIM 3G smartphone. The device has a 3.5 inch display with 320 x 480 pixels resolution. The smartphone runs on 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor but has a very low RAM of just 256 MB and just 512 MB internal memory. Fortunately the memory can be expanded up to 32 GB with microSD cards.
The Idea Zeal, which is mainly targeted at the youth community comprising of college students and professionals, has a 3 megapixel rear camera for the occasional photography. The phone is powered by the old Android Gingerbread OS. The device has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for data transfer.

The Idea Zeal smartphone is priced at Rs. 5390 and comes with added 3G benefits worth Rs. 1200 from Idea. The users are entitled to 1 GB of free data every month for first 3 months and free Idea TV for first 3 months with the 3G pack.
