Days after launching its 4G LTE services in Bangalore in Karnataka, Idea has now launched its services in Orissa.
Idea Cellular announced the launch of its 4G LTE services in Orissa. The services will be first rolled out in major cities which include Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Baleswar, Jharsuguda and Jatni, while 18 other major towns including Sambalpur, Brahmapur and Raurkela will follow by March 2016. With this, the operator has completed rollout in four circles in South India and three in North India.
Speaking about the launch, Sashi Shankar, CMO, Ideal Cellular, said, “Customers with 4G devices in the towns across these eight circles can upgrade their SIM cards to new 4G SIM cards to experience 4G services. Idea is offering attractive subscription plans to digital content and has also partnered with leading handset manufacturers and e-commerce retailers for special data bundling offers on new 4G smartphones.”
