Seeing the success of its recent handsets which come bundled with attractive data offers, Idea has launched a new 3G Android smartphone – the Idea !d 4000.
Idea Cellular, one of the leading telecom operators in India, has announced the launch of the Idea !d 4000, which is an entry-level Android smartphone boasting of superfast internet capabilities. The phone has a 4 inch display with very low resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. The device is powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor along with just 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage.
The Idea !d 4000 is equipped with a rear facing 3.2 MP camera. The phone runs on the Android v4.2 with a 1500 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 4999 and would be available at all Idea retail outlets in 11 circles including Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Maharashtra & Goa, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh , Punjab, Uttar Pradesh (E) and Uttar Pradesh (W).
As an introductory offer, the Idea !d 4000 comes bundles with 3G data benefits of 1.6 GB 3G data and Free Idea TV for 3 months at just Rs. 259 for existing Idea 3G customers and Rs. 261 for new Idea 3G subscribers.
