Earlier today Idea Cellular announced that it would remove roaming charges for all its subscribers when on roaming in any part of the country. Additionally, the company has also launched International Roaming Value plans for its subscribers.
Idea Cellular has announced the launch of a series of International Roaming Value packs for its subscribers travelling outside India. The packs offer free bundled usage of up to 400 outgoing minutes, 100 SMS per day, data usage and unlimited incoming calls.
Idea has launched three categories of the International Roaming Value packs based on the usage – Travel Plus, Travel Smart and Travel Lite. The plans are dependent on the destination and include USA and Canada, UK and Ireland, UAE, Europe and Asia.
The Travel Plus International Roaming Value pack is priced ranging from Rs. 2499 and Rs. 5999 depending on the destination. It offers unlimited incoming calls bundled with 400 outgoing minutes, 100 SMS per day and 3 GB of data. The plan is valid for 30 days.
The Travel Smart International Roaming Value pack is priced ranging from Rs. 1199 and Rs. 3999 depending on the destination. It offers unlimited incoming calls bundled with 250 outgoing minutes, 100 SMS per day and 2 GB of data. The plan is valid only for 10 days.
The Travel Lite International Roaming Value pack is priced ranging from Rs. 1999 and Rs. 2499 and is available only for USA and Canada, UK and Ireland and UAE regions. It offers 1 GB of bundled data and reduced tariffs for incoming and outgoing calls. The plan is valid for 30 days.
