iBall has jumped into the tablet market by launching the iBall Slide tablet in the Indian market. The tablet runs on Android and apparently the company has made Hrithik Roshan as the brand ambassador.
The tablet has a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen, 8 GB built in memory and expandable up to 32GB, Wifi, Bluetooth , 3G on dongle support, USB host and on-the-go support, HDMI, 2MP front camera, and a 4400mAh battery.
The tablet provides the facility of Visual search, Voice actions, web browsing, e-mail, chat, social networking, music and HD video, gaming, e-book, news, weather and several applications from the Android market. It is loaded with “Documents to go” that would help users to work on MS Word, MS excel, MS PowerPoint and PDF attachments.
Commenting on the launch of iBall Slide, Sandeep Parasrampuria, director, iBall said, “The world-wide market is phenomenally rising for Tablet PCs and is expected to reach 175 million units by 2014. iBall Slide is power packed with technology and features and we are sure iBall Slide will make the Indian consumer enjoy the ride.”
