More than a year after beginning sales in India purely online, Huawei has now started selling their Honor smartphones offline.
Huawei has announced its partnership with Zopper, which is touted to be India’s first hyper local marketplace, to sell it Honor smartphones offline. The handset would now be available across 267 outlets in Delhi NCR (Gurgaon, Faridabad), Chennai, Vellore, Pondicherry and Bangalore. While the pricing of the handsets would remain the same as online, customers will get to pick their devices directly.
To celebrate the launch of the offline sales, Huawei is providing offers to their customers which include 5% cashback or Rs. 750 (whichever is less) on transaction, 1 year damage insurance/liquid damage from Zopper.
Speaking about the expansion, Allen Wang, President, Consumer Business Group, Huawei India, said, “We are very encouraged with the response we have received for our Honor smartphones in India, including the Honor 4X, Honor 6 Plus and Honor 7. To reinforce our commitment towards our customers in India, and allow a higher level of access to Honor smartphones, we have decided to introduce Honor smartphones in the offline sales channel, which starts with the tie-up with Zopper, which allow customers to choose the retailer offering the best price for a product.”
