Huawei has been aiming high this year. You must have heard the name of Huawei many times this year than before. Reason? Well, Huawei got a chance to manufacture this year’s Nexus smartphone, the Nexus 6P, which is a flagship offering from the stables of Google and Huawei. According to a report, and specs leaked on AnTuTu, Huawei is all set to launch another smartphone, the Huawei P9 Max which is listed as P9 50S on the benchmark site. This handset will be a successor to the Huawei P8.
Talking about the specifications, the Huawei P9 Max is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 950 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. Graphics will be pumped by the Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. Those who like consuming media on their smartphones are in for a treat as the display is sized at 6.2-inches boasting off a 2K resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels), which means it should have a pixel density of 486.92ppi.
Talking about performance, the Huawei P9 Max scored 73759 in the AnTuTu benchmark test, and, 16822 in 3D graphics test. Although the scores are good, they are lower than the scores of Meizu Pro 5 which scored 76244 and a whopping 23393 in the AnTuTu and 3D graphics test respectively. The Meizu Pro 5 is powered by the Exynos 7420 octa-core processor accompanied by Mali T-760 MP8 GPU.
