Huawei recently started sending out invites for an event in London on April 15, where it’s supposedly launching its next flagship, the Huawei Ascend P8. While the official unveiling is not far away, we’ve got new press images of the P8 along with images of what is the Huawei P8 Lite.
Along with the leaked press images, we also get to know the specifications of the aforementioned devices. If the press shots are indeed real, the Huawei P8 looks exactly how a flagship should look. The picture screams premium, as the device features a glass and metal unibody, which is ultra thin at 6.4 mm. The device will also arrive in a Platinum version, which will be pricier and come with Sapphire glass, both on the front and the rear. The Huawei P8 on the other hand will also feature a premium metal body.
The specs of the Huawei P8 have leaked previously and they are reiterated again. The Huawei P8 is said to be coming with a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) display and it’ll be powered by Huawei’s homegrown 64-bit Octa-core Kirin 930 chipset with 3 GB RAM. Other specs are said to be 32 GB expandable storage, 13 MP rear and an 8 MP front camera, 2520 mAh battery and 4G Dual SIM.
From the leaked specs, the Huawei P8 Lite seems to be a mid-ranger. It is said to be coming with a 5-inch 720p display, 1.2 GHz Kirin 620 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage, a 2200 mAh battery, 13 MP rear cam and a 5 MP front-facing camera.
The Huawei P8 is said to be coming with a price tag of $480 (~Rs. 30,000), which seems reasonable, if true. Come April 15, we should know all the details around the Huawei P8 and P8 Lite.
