While the refreshed version of the Google Nexus 7 (2013 Edition) received some good reviews owing to the specs, Huawei is planning to compete with the leading tablet with a device of its own – the Huawei MediaPad X1.7.0.
According to sources, Huawei is working on the Huawei MediaPad X1.7.0, which would have decent specs and an affordable pricing. The tablet is said to have a 7 inch display with resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixel, just like the Nexus 7. Interestingly, the device would be powered by the company’s homemade quad core HiSilicon 910 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz along with 2 GB of RAM.
The Huawei MediaPad X1.7.0 is expected to feature a 5 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 1.3 MP camera. Sadly, the device would still be launched running the Android v4.2. The launch date of the device is not yet revealed, but we do know that it would be priced very affordably, thus raising the competition.
Expected specs of the Huawei MediaPad X1.7.0:
- 7 inch display
- 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution
- 1.6 GHz quad core HiSilicon 910 processor
- 2 GB RAM
- 16 GB internal memory
- 5 MP primary camera
- 1.3 MP front facing camera
- Google Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean
