After Samsung and HTC launched the Google Edition of their flagship device, more companies seem to be taking a liking for the trend and are planning to adopt the same.
According to the director of handsets production of Huawei, the company is negotiating with Google to release a Google Edition of the Huawei Ascend P6., thus levelling with Samsung and HTC. The Google Edition of the Huawei Ascend P6 will replace the new Emotion UI, which is said to be quite impressive.
After Samsung launched the Google Edition of the Galaxy S4 and HTC launched Google Edition of the HTC One, we had heard reports claiming just one other manufacturer would release a Google Edition phone this year, and the expected player was Sony with its Xperia Z not Huawei.
