Huawei had mentioned that having its own retail channel in India would be its top priority for 2016 and now the company has launched its own online store.
Huawei has announced the launch of its online store in India to sell its smartphones and accessories. It also partnered with Vision Distribution Private Limited to manage and sell the inventory, thus making the HiHonor.com portal just a platform for sales. Customers can now purchase Honor products from the official online Honor store along with Flipkart and Amazon. The company also signed up Saina Nehwal as the brand ambassador.
Speaking about the expansion, Allen Wang, President – Consumer Business Group, Huawei India, said, “We have upgraded our HiHonor.com website to open an online store for Honor smartphones and accessories. Now Honor customers will be able to directly buy from this website. The company has signed one year contract with Nehwal and is yet to finalise branding campaign featuring her.”
