Huawei India has announced the launch of the Huawei Honor and the Ideos X5 Pro in the sub-continent to strengthen the its hold in the Indian Mobile market. Huawei Honor has been much appreciated in other countries and the device does pack in some decent specs, most-importantly being capable of supporting Android’s latest 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS (When the upgrade is available).
The Honor goes on to include a 4 inch Scratch resistant Gorilla glass screen with a FWVGA display and pixel density of 245 PPI. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz processor, has an 8 MP Autofocus camera at the rear capable with LED Flash and capable of High Definition Recording. There is also a 0.3 MP front camera for video calls.
Honor also is DLNA-certified, which ensures interoperability and ability to play content wirelessly on other DLNA-certified devices such as digital cameras, game consoles and TVs. It is powered by a 1900mAh battery. Honor has been priced at Rs. 19,990.
Next up is the Huawei Ideos X5 Pro which is an upgraded version of the Ideos X5. The X5 Pro arrives with a 3.8 inch WVGA Capacitive touchscreen, it runs on a 1 GHz processor. There is a 5 MP camera with LED Flash at the rear capable of capturing HD videos at 720p.
The Ideos X5 Pro comes with 16 GB of Cloud storage where users can store all their data. With SRS WOW HD, users can enjoy crystal clear music experience and the active noise cancellation on the Mic keeps the ambient noise at bay. The phone comes with 1500mAh battery which is quite decent to support the working of the device.
The Huawei Ideos X5 Pro has been priced at Rs 13,800, a nice price tag, given the features of the device.
