In a bid to make its presence felt in the global Android markets, Huawei launched its flagship Android device. The official launch of the Huawei Ascend P2 puts an end to a host of speculations about the display resolution.
The Huawei Ascend P2 with a screen size of 4.7 inches has a display resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels as against the 1080p resolution rumored earlier, mainly because the company feels that at this screen size our eyes can’t identify higher resolution than this.
The Ascend P2 is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory. Sadly there is no slot for memory expansion. The device features a 13 megapixel primary camera which is illuminated from back to provide better performance in low light conditions. There is also a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.
The phone packs a 2420 mAh battery which would ensure a longer up time. The device runs on Android Jelly Bean OS and has a sleek and glossy finish. The Huawei’s Emotion UI performs very smoothly giving a pleasant user experience.
