Huawei, which was rumoured to be working on an ultra-thin smartphone, seems to be getting close. Today, we saw images of an alleged Huawei phone which is called Edge. To add more, the phone body is just 6.3 mm thick.
According to the images seen on a Chinese site, a 6.3 mm phone called the Huawei Edge is seen. While we’re not sure whether the phone would actually be called Edge or if it’s just a codename, we could see the shiny aluminium casing, which give the phone an overall trendy look.
The images were accompanied by specs which seem to be quite high-end. The phone is said to be powered by a 1.8 GHz K3V3 quad-core Cortex A15 processor with a 2GB RAM and 16/32 GB of internal storage.
The device will have two cameras, with a massive 13 MP rear camera and a unknown front camera. Though the phone launch date is not known, it is going to run on the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS. Interestingly, all of the above specs nearly match the Huawei Ascend D2.
