Huawei had recently unveiled the high-end Mate 8 and now the company seems to be gearing up to launch another high-end smartphone – the Huawei D8.
According to sources, the Huawei D8 smartphone, which is next in line after the Huawei Mate 8, would be launched early next year. Interestingly, the source reveals that the handset has a massive 5.5 inch sapphire glass display with super-high resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. While there is no mention of the fingerprint scanner, we can assume it to be present.
Surprisingly, the source claims that the Huawei D8 smartphone would be powered by the yet to be announced Kirin 960 chipset instead of the Kirin 950. Also expected is 4 GB of RAM. The handset is expected to be priced in the 5000 Yuan range (approx. Rs. 50000). But we should have more specific details soon.
