While we just saw the Huawei tablet that is expected to throw a tough competition for the Nexus 7, the company has announced the entry level Huawei Ascend Y530 smartphone.
The Huawei Ascend Y530, which is the successor to the Ascend Y511, that was launched last year, is a very basic entry level smartphone. The device has a 4.5 inch display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The phone is powered by the dual core Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with just 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage.
The Huawei Ascend Y530 is equipped with a 5 MP rear facing camera with LED flash and a front facing VGA camera. Interestingly, the phone runs on the Android v4.3 and may also get the Android KitKat update. The handset is expected to be released in March.
