The launch of the Ascend W1 will make Huawei, the fourth OEM to launch its smartphones on the new Windows Phone 8 OS and the Chinese manufacturer plans to launch the smartphone in a series of color options as you can see below.
The Huawei Ascend W1 has leaked a few times and is expected to arrive with a 4-inch display, will be powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512 MB RAM, 4 GB of internal storage with expansion with microSD slot. The W1 will get all its juice from a 2000 mAh battery and will carry a 5 MP camera on the rear.
Next up is the Ascend D2 which will be a straight competitor to the HTC Droid DNA/Butterfly and other upcoming 5-inch smartphones with full-HD display. The D2 will be powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, a 13 MP camera on the rear and Android 4.1 out-of-the-box.
Finally, it is the Ascend Mate, a 6.1-inch giant from Huawei which will be made official at the event. Huawei has already previewed the device in China out of excitement but the official announcement will happen at the CES. The phablet arrives with a 720p display and will be powered by a 3800 mAh battery.
