Huawei’s latest flagship, the sleek and good looking Ascend P7 is now receiving its very first update. The update is a minor one, so don’t expect much.
The update is available in Germany right now but it should make it to the other countries of Europe soon. The update is a minor one, since the Android version remains 4.4.2 and Huawei’s Emotion UI version also remains the same 2.3. We came across leaked images of the Emotion 3.0 UI recently but that’s not making it to the device currently.
The update brings the firmware build to B126 and it will bring improved performance and the usual bug fixes. The update is available as an OTA update (over the air), so you don’t need a PC to install the update.
The Huawei Ascend P7 was unveiled a couple of months back and we were pretty impressed with its selfie capabilities. The device was quick to hit 1 million sales mark and an Arsenal Edition of the device was launched recently. The device is yet to launch in India but if you live in Europe and own an Ascend P7, do tell us if you receive the update.
