The Huawei Acsend Mate 2 which leaked in ‘not much revealing’ pictures recently has now leaked again in another set of pictures which reveal a hell lot more.
Along with the pictures, there is new info on the specs courtesy of the folks at Engadget China. It is supposedly coming with the same 6.1-inch HD (1280×720) display rather than the bump in resolution we suggested in the earlier leak which is slightly disappointing considering the huge display. Anyways there are some changes in the hardware and under the hood as well. Take a look at the pictures:
The new Ascend Mate 2 is thinner and narrower from the top which means the device is shorter. It will come Huawei’s very own quad-core 1.6GHz Huawei Kirin 910 chipset and 2 GB of RAM. There should be an 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front facing camera. There’s Android 4.2.2 on board which is disappointing considering we are in the Android 4.4.x KitKat era.
We are pretty sure we’ll see the Ascend Mate 2 get officially announced at CES 2014 in Las Vegas and be sure we’ll bring you all the news so stay tuned and keep reading.
