It’s quite common to see major companies releasing the Mini versions of their flagship device, a trend that was started by Samsung which has now reached to point where the Mini versions have started leaking out even before the launch of the flagship devices. The latest is the HTC Zara Mini.
While the HTC Zara, which is a hybrid between the HTC One and HTC Desire, is still in rumours, sources have leaked images of the smaller version of the device which is allegedly called the HTC Zara Mini with codename HTC 301e. The device, though reduced to 4.3 inches, maintains the hybrid design of the HTC Zara.
As per the source, the HTC Zara Mini would be powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor, which could be the Snapdragon 400, and just 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The smartphone is supposed to be equipped with two cameras, a rear facing MP camera and a front facing 1.3 MP camera. While the launch date isn’t mentioned yet, the device is expected to be priced at least $212.
