After several leaks and teasers, HTC has finally announced its flagship HTC U11 smartphone with the Edge Sense technology.
HTC has announced the launch of the HTC U11, which is the company’s latest flagship smartphone offering with the Edge Sense technology which would allow users to launch the camera, send text messages, open email or customize it to launch any application by squeezing the handset.
The HTC U11 boasts of a liquid glass surface crafted using Optical Spectrum Hybrid Deposition, which is said to be created by layering highly-refractive precious minerals across the phone’s back cover, creating vivid new colours that transforms light.
The HTC U1 has a 5.5 inch LCD5 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and resolution of 2560 x 1440. The smartphone is powered by the octa core Snapdragon 835 chipset. While the handset is available in a base variant of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, the Indian variant would have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
The HTC U11 has a 12 MP rear facing HTC UltraPixel 3 camera with f/1.7 aperture, OIS, UltraSpeed Autofocus, RAW capture and dual LED flash. There is also a front facing 16 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android Nougat version with a 3000 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity.
