It’s been more than six months now since Google released Android 8.0 Oreo. Some companies have already rolled out the Oreo update to their smartphones, while some have “confirmed” that they will roll-out the Oreo update. Well, Taiwan-based HTC has also rolled out the Oreo update to its smartphones like HTC 10, U11 and U11 Life. And now, it’s rolling out the Oreo update to HTC U Ultra as well.
The HTC U Ultra is receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo update in Taiwan and India. But, the company should roll-out the Oreo update for U Ultra in other regions soon. Having said that, the Oreo update for U Ultra carries two different version numbers while also having different size.
The update that’s rolled out in Taiwan carries version number 2.19.709.2 and weighs 1.58 GB in size, whereas, the other update carries version number 2.19.400.1 and weighs 1.32 GB in size.
