While HTC might have missed a few timelines for the roll out of the much awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for its devices, the company took over Facebook to inform owners of a couple of devices that the company will release the before August ends.
HTC’s Desire S and Thunderbolt have been confirmed to get the Android 4.0 ICS upgrade very soon.
HTC has pointed out that all the device which the company promised will be getting the Android 4.0 ICS upgrade will be getting the upgrade by the end of this month for sure.
This is indeed great news for a few device owners like HTC Rhyme who were bound to receive the new OS by ‘June-July’ but still haven’t been served some ICS love. Oh and not to forget that the HTC Desire HD is not that lucky to get the Android 4.0 as the update has been shunned by the company.
But it is also great to see HTC is going out straight and answering queries of all the concerned device owners and not swindling new hopes for them and informing them of the expected time frame.
Check out when HTC devices are to get the Android 4.0 ICS update over here.
